Soy hija de inmigrantes guatemaltecos, así como hija de esta comunidad. Vota para elegir a la primera latina en La Junta del Condado. Yo jamás me olvidaré de mis raíces y mucho menos de mi gente.

We made history by electing the first Latina Supervisor in San Mateo County!

Representation matters. In 2023, I became the only person of color and the only woman on the Board of Supervisors in a county that is over 62% people of color and over half women. Since then, I’ve been rolling up my sleeves every day and working together for us all.

What is a County Supervisor?

You’d be surprised by how often I get: So what exactly is a Board of Supervisors? And what do Supervisors do? I made a video with some answers. Understanding how government works is the first step to participating in it.

Are you wondering, “What does the Board of Supervisors do?” This video explains.

What district am I in?

San Mateo County District 2 encompasses San Mateo, Foster City, and most of Belmont north of Ralston Avenue. If you live there, you will see my name on your 2026 ballot and can vote for me. If not, you can still donate and tell your neighbors. Decisions on the Board affect all of San Mateo County. Not sure of your district? Look it up by your address.
